A Data Governance Analyst is required by a well-respected and leading organisation based in Poole. Experience of data governance, data management, data protection and/or regulatory compliance programmes, ideally with an understanding of GDPR, is essential.


· Initiate the development of data governance policies, principles, guidelines, standards, registers, forms, and procedures required for compliance with new legislation

· Deliver data governance audits and make recommendations for improvements

· Identify and carry out impact assessments

· Prioritise risk mitigation activities

· Facilitate education and awareness sessions and influence a culture of good data governance

· Produce regular reports on activity

Essential Requirements:

· Broad experience of data governance, data management, data protection and/or regulatory compliance programmes

· An understanding, or the ability and willingness to develop an understanding, of the requirements for GDPR and other data governance standards/requirements

· Able to influence and manage stakeholders

Desirable Requirements:

· Experience working within large organisations and their core business processes

· Experience with auditing people, processes and systems

· Education or training in data governance or data protection

Salary and Benefits:

Basic salary is £36-42,500 p.a. depending on experience. Benefits include 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, up to 16% pension, private medical insurance and life cover, health and dental cash plans, eyecare vouchers, car share/cycle to work scheme, and much more.
