This is a 1 year maternity cover contract working for this global leader in Consumer Electronics who are looking for a Head of Insights to join their European team which is accountable for the strategic choices with specific accountability to partner with the business teams in the area of: TV / Visual Display (strategy, flagship launches, trends etc.). You will need to have extensive experience in market insights, demonstrating strategic impact, preferably from a technology or CE background with Global / pan regional experience.

You will be responsible for Partneingr with the business teams in the development of the European TV/ Visual Display businesses, interacting with and make recommendations to multiple stakeholders at the most senior levels of the company. Supporting direct requests from stakeholders at the most senior levels in terms of opportunity sizing, category and product performance, consumer targets etc. You will be recognized as the expert and go-to person for consumer and market insight for the entire TV organization.

Drive consumer and market insight into the core of strategic decisions through strong partnership and involvement in planning across all areas of the business (product, retail, digital, media, PR, partnerships etc.), identify strategic areas of growth based on consumer and market insights. Provide value proposition definition for flagship launches and measure market response and guide optimization of marketing.

You will be an excellent relationship builder and stakeholder manager to integrate insights and influence global strategy through strong collaboration / leadership across the regions.

Partner with channel and retail teams to deliver conceptual sells & inform in store strategy.

Partner with marketing and digital to optimize the consumer journey.

Play a leadership role to influence global TV CMI regarding research priorities and plans.

Partner with global TV marketing to support key strategic regional projects

Partner with the local market business and marketing heads to ensure they are supported with relevant insights and action plans against key commercial priorities

Play a leadership role with country CMI to define TV research plans, leverage & activate TV insights, driving scale & impact of research investments.

Support the development and use of key Insights Platforms across the business e.g. Knowledge Platform, data platform

Support the development and use of key shared service programmes by business and marketing leads in TV e.g. Campaign Tracker

Be responsible for the delivery and effective use by EO and the local markets of Kantar Home shared service
