An experienced Accounts Assistant is required to work for my client, a growing property sector business based in Doncaster.

The successful applicant will join the Organisation at new modern offices, joining the finance team and supporting a small team of Directors on site.

Applicants will ideally be conversant with Sage Accounting software and demonstrate an understanding of producing monthly management accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impression in a business who are already well established and are now entering a phase of considerable growth.

Duties will include:

Producing Monthly Management Accounts.
Maintaining nominal costs for purchase costs and direct costs for any works and improvements carried out.
Inputting transactions into Sage.
Maintaining the purchase ledger function.
Producing and sending out invoices.
Accessing the live bank account, raising payments for all incoming invoices and performing account reconciliations.
Carrying out Intercompany payments and transfers.
Arranging Insurance cover for properties.
Raising Council tax payments and reconciliation.
Recording Utilities (meter readings) and payment reconciliation.
Liaising / corresponding with external Solicitors regarding purchase costs and requesting completion statements.
Other duties will include taking phone calls and dealing with enquiries basis and updating the Company website
