My client, a leading organisation within the automotive sector are recruiting for a First Line IT Support Anaylst to join their team.

Your duties will include:

* Being the first point of contact for the Vindis IT Service Desk - gathering/following up information, if required;

* Correctly prioritising incoming incidents and requests; escalating matters to the 2nd Line Team, as needed;

* Responding to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and face-to-face, whilst updating the IT system;

* Tracking issues to resolution, updating the internal knowledgebase and/or communicating learnings to the relevant business units and IT Team;

* Preparing and maintaining IT hardware, including; desktops, laptops, iPads, iPhones and other mobile devices; and

* Installing approved software, as required.

Prerequisites for this position are as follows

* Proven experience within a helpdesk/support position.

* A full UK driving licence (preferable but not essential).
