What will you be doing?

As the Internal Communications Manager you will be responsible for leading and consulting on all communications across MVF to ensure authentic, inclusive, results-focused communications enabling the business to achieve its objectives.

At the heart of the business strategy, the Internal Communications Manager, has a deep understanding of the business’s plans and how to position the business to achieve its long-term goals. You will be responsible for creating communications campaigns to enhance employee engagement, deepen MVFers understanding of key messages and deliver a shared sense of purpose across the organisation.

Excelling in stakeholder management and an expert in their field, the Internal Communications Manager will continually optimise processes and provide consultation to MVF’s leaders. You will set best practice for communications across MVF, spanning everything from company updates to helping teams communicate through change.


  • Plan and deliver a comprehensive content strategy keping MVF’s 500+ employees informed and engaged. You will have full ownership of communications within the business

  • Own all MVF owned media channels, ensuring consistent delivery of MVF’s key messages via social media, website, client communications and partner communications

  • Work closely with MVF’s PR team to ensure external messages and publicity is aligned and reflected internally, and to protect against potential reputational damage

  • Provide consultation to MVF’s C-Suite and People team on all company change programmes

  • Create and maintain a framework for crisis communications and risk mitigation

  • Continually improve and innovate workplace communications systems, process and technology stack to support high performance and rapid growth

  • Plan and deliver internal communications campaigns against MVF’s calendar of events, supporting programs including MVF University, Be Well, Compliance, Business Conduct Committee

  • Ensure consistent messaging from senior stakeholders to the business via events, presentations and messaging at key company-wide events

  • Active member of the Responsible Business, Social and CSR committees providing communications guidance and support and ensuring all activities are aligned to company principles and values

About you:

As the Internal Communications Manager you will have

  • Exceptional written and spoken communication and ability to distill messages clearly

  • Results focus and ability to deliver against a wide variety of business objectives

  • Confident and able to use expertise to challenge business leaders

  • Clear grasp of the business strategy and our key USPs

  • Exceptional project management and ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities

  • Flair for engaging copy and ability to switch tones for audience

  • Diplomacy and ability to advise on sensitive and confidential matters

  • Ability to engage people from across the business and understand different requirements from different groups
