Senior Debt Advisors
I am recruiting Technical Supervisors (x 4) for a debt advice organisation based in London, paying up to £32K. The organisation’s outreach services are free to access, and include financial and wellbeing services, work with older people and community learning services which support young people and new migrants.
We are looking for qualified, experienced debt advisors who are able to act as technical supervisors, supporting other Debt Advisers to ensure that the advice provided to over-indebted clients is accurate and tailored to individual circumstances. You will be required to conduct debt-advice interview observations and undertake file reviews.
You will also be required to offer support to the advisers together with identifying and implementing training needs. You will also be required to support and audit partner organisations, ensuring that they are prepared for external reviews of their service in line with their Grant Agreement.
In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that partner organisations are kept up to date with the requirements for external assessments including file reviews and implementation of any remedial actions. You will need to work closely with Quality Assurance Officers to ensure Advisors based at delivery partners have a good awareness and understanding of the quality and service delivery requirements.
The roles require a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. You also need to be available to travel across London, working from different offices often on a daily basis.
Successful candidates need to have a minimum of two years’ experience of delivering debt advice and will need to hold a valid accredited Money Advice Service qualification.
These roles are offered on a one-year fixed term contract basis.
Whilst we endeavour to contact all applicants, during busy times this may not be possible, or your response might be significantly delayed. If you do not hear within two weeks of the closing date, please assume your application has not been successful.
