Integrated and Creative Designer

This is an exciting role within a newly formed Marketing and Creative Services department. By working with the Head of Marketing and Creative Services or another member of the creative team, the successful person will work on end-to-end campaigns from their creative inception through to delivery across integrated channels of customer communication:

  • Print
  • Direct mail
  • Email
  • SMS
  • Social media
  • Websites
  • Microsites and landing pages etc.

The job will be full of variety and the successful individual must be capable of delivering different types of design work across very different formats. In particular, he/she will have proven skills for:

  • Delivering great creative work from data intel
  • Delivering great creative design through tech and integrated (multichannel) campaign techniques
  • Developing brands through cross-media communication templates and brand/digital asset management

You will have a qualification in a professional design media at diploma level or higher with at least 24 months industry experience through full time employment or freelance

  • Great knowledge of highly targeted, personalised and integrated multichannel marketing and customer communications
  • The ability to contribute innovative ideas to creative and development projects
  • Great presentation and visualisation skills
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

o Adobe Photoshop

o Illustrator

o InDesign

o Acrobat and XD skills are a minimum requirement.

o Knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Muse, After Effects and other Adobe CS software will be advantageous

  • Demonstrable photographic retouching and illustration skills
  • Demonstrable logo design, iconography and typography skills
  • Demonstrable skills in web (UI/UX) and email design with working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Demonstrable knowledge of different email service platforms will be advantageous
  • Effective project management and organisational skills with good level of experience in file management
  • Personable, presentable and professional personality
  • Further knowledge of any other creative software packages will be advantageous


You will be working on Group projects as well as directly with clients

To lead the design needs of the business, which includes but not limited to:


This development will include:

  • Designing and overseeing a constantly evolving brand, defining guidelines and producing design assets for both online and offline use
  • Designing online and offline templates for use by the marketing and sales teams
  • Designing websites for digital brand asset management
  • Designing brand materials and literature for both online and offline use

The design of Group marketing and sales materials. This will include but not limited to the design of:

  • Direct Mail campaigns
  • Email campaigns
  • Websites and personalised/dynamic landing pages or microsites
  • Integrated and multichannel campaigns

To lead the design needs of the business, this includes but not limited to:

  • Email campaigns
  • Websites and personalised/dynamic landing pages or microsites
  • Integrated and multichannel campaigns


Working from brief to deliver many of the following for their clients:

  • New creative campaign concepts and communication formats
  • Developing brand identities and create brand assets for both online and offline use
  • Designing print, direct mail and/or transactional documents/templates
  • Designing alternative and interactive digital formats for online use
  • Designing responsive email campaigns / templates
  • Designing responsive websites and dynamic microsites / landing pages (e.g. PURL sites)


Competitive salary - £34k - £37k per annum depending on experience

22 days holiday
