Service Desk Engineer, Central Bournemouth, up to £30,000

You're an experienced Service Desk Engineer and you've worked with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems. You live within commuting distance to Bournemouth and you're looking for a new challenge within a successful and respected local company.

Rubicon's client specialises in IT managed services. They are a fast-growing cloud service provider and pride themselves on their near 100% client retention. You'll be responsible for all escalated Service Desk tickets and also for providing upgrades to client systems. You'll enjoy problem solving and thinking on your feet to resolve issues and provide great customer service.

As Service Desk Engineer, you'll benefit from 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company laptop and mobile phone and an on-call allowance.

Your Service Desk Engineer responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with clients and customers to resolve service issues.
  • Taking full ownership of Service tickets that are escalated to you.
  • Attending client sites when required.
