We are one of London’s leading housing social enterprise, managing over 60,000 properties across the capital and building thousands more. We have a rich and innovative history with the same social purpose today as when we were formed in 1963 – to provide good quality homes for those who could not otherwise afford them.
We are mid-way through an exciting 2 year digital ‘Workwise’ programme to compliment the wide range of services we offer our residents. One of the key features of our digital programme is an online portal, developed on Microsoft’s Azure platform, to enable residents to self-serve by accessing a range of online services anywhere, anytime.
The Front-End Developer Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity for a talented Front-End Developer has arisen in our technology team. You should have a sound knowledge and a desire to keep up to date with the rapidly evolving world of modern web standards.
As the Front End Developer you will be joining a passionate team of Developers, Architects and Product Owners to work on a number of greenfield projects.
+ Solid commercial experience as a Front-End Developer using React and Redux.
+ Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party APIs.
+ Experience using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).
+ An advocate of TDD and experience of working within a distributed source control environment (GIT).
+ Demonstrable experience working in an Agile / Kanban environment.
+ Experience writing tests in Jest / Enzyme or similar JS testing framework.
+ Experience creating responsive, intuitive and reliable user interfaces.
+ Solid understanding of web technology and architecture.
+ Great communication skills and team player.
