If this is you then the Assistant Buyer/Assistant Category Manager Apprentice job role could be for you.

You will be responsible for helping the category buyer to build and grow business for the Microsoft Stores. This includes helping to drive the assortment, promotions and relationships necessary to build upon our existing merchandising strategy for both the brick-and-mortar and online Microsoft Store efforts.

As we expand our store base and continue to improve our experiences online, an effective multi-channel business strategy is pivotal to our success. Effectively assorting the right products for the stores means striking a fine balance between establishing a unique and innovative selection to drive interest and traffic and a selection of product that will drive meaningful increases in revenues and affinity for the stores.

To support this job role, we are offering a Level 4 Commercial Supply and Procurement Apprenticeship. We use the to grow the critical skills that you need in this role. You will spend time away from your job training and growing your knowledge to bring back into your job and apply all you have learnt. You will complete work-based assignments on this programme and the modules of the programme are aligned to what you will be doing in your day to day job role.

Assist category buyer with product assortment for Microsoft Stores Comp shopping Item set up Promo set up Run and maintain a variety of reports to help analyze the business Maintain category promotion calendar (rolling 12 months) Participate in supplier calls and meetings to help run the business Track and monitor technology blogs to ensure we are staying ahead of the curve on products and trends

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs A*-C including Maths and English & 3 A Levels A*-C or equivalent qualifications
