Store Manager - Requirements

The ideal candidate will be from a senior convenience retail or from a large supermarket / high street retail background with a high emphasis on retail merchandising standards and driving sales. You must have:

  • Previous retail management or supervisory experience
  • Previous experience of managing a management team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent sales skills
  • People management skills
  • FULL DRIVING LICENSE AND TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL

Store Manager - Responsibilities

As the Store Manager, your role involves overseeing the day-to-day operation of the retail unit. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Maximising departmental / store sales
  • Adhering to departmental / store budgets and meeting profit targets
  • Profit and Loss management
  • Controlling and maintaining company and departmental standards and procedures
  • Managing, motivating and developing the team
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Delivering excellent customer service
