Team Leader - Debt Recovery
Due to expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader from a Debt Recovery background and ideally knowledge of conveyancing transactions and unsecured Litigation. The role is working for our client who is an accredited and fully FCA authorised UK based specialist Debt Recovery Litigation law firm based in the heart of vibrant Manchester. Role is permanent and full-time, Monday - Friday.
Our client works on behalf of 7 of the Top 10 UK banks providing a range of services supporting customers in financial difficulties , it is part of a Top 20 UK legal services business founded in 1912 and operating out of 14 UK offices with over 2,500 members of staff.
You would join as part of a specialist team at the company’s Manchester office, as the Team Leader working to KPI's and and SLA's, you will be responsible for managing the daily activity of an Unsecured Litigation team at head office comprising of Paralegals and non legal staff. You must ensure that the teams are meeting the required client SLA’s to comply with expectations and policies. You will provide a professional and informative primary point of contact for all customers, handling complaints and ensuring excellent levels of service as well as providing the relevant training for your team.
Supporting the Head of Department, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of resources including conducting 1:1s and appraisals, management of daily workloads, productivity and performance as well as achieving service level standards and optimising staff levels on a daily basis. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of the debt recovery process and a minimum of 2 years team leader experience from a Conveyancing, Litigation, mortgage servicing, legal or unsecured recoveries areas. Knowledge of the CPR would be of benefit.
