Payroll and Administration Assistant

Location: Borehamwood

Basic salary – £24000 - £27000 (Depending on experience)

Monday to Friday full time – 8:00am to 4:30pm including 1 hour lunch

Duties:

Payroll

Entering timesheet onto excel spreadsheets and checking before transfer data to payroll system

Liaising with sites and contract manager about missing timesheet, rate, staff absent

Process CSA payment, childcare vouches

SSP/SMP/SPP payment

Processing new starters and leavers

Subcontractors - CIS

Entering timesheet onto spreadsheets and checking before transfer data to subcontractor ledger

Verify subcontractors status via HMRC

Chasing VAT Certificates and payment cert

Raise self-billing invoice to subcontractors

Month end CIS filing to HMRC

Liaising with sites and contract manager about missing timesheet, rate

Skill & Attributes

Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word

Good in numerical, written and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail

Strong time management skills

Payroll or CIS experience will be advantageous
