After going through a significant period of growth this market leading Professional Services business are expanding their Payroll team and a fantastic opportunity has come available for a Payroll Officer to join their successful Finance team based in York.

Description

As a Payroll Officer you will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

Duties will include but are not limited to; processing of the payroll, assessing and inputting employee changes, inputting new starters, leavers and amendments, calculating pay amendments, processing statutory and company entitlements i.e. maternity pay and sick pay, assisting with the company benefit schemes, month end reporting, dealing with any queries, maintaining records and other ad hoc duties.

This role is well suited to someone with a background in Payroll Administration.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have held a Payroll position previously

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Be able to work with high volumes
