Stock Controller

* Planning, ordering and storage of all stock items, equipment, tools and gas.

* Maintaining appropriate stock levels by closely monitoring jobs currently live and in progress, and future jobs.

* To maintain the stock records accurately, investigate and resolve any stock variations and process the reconciliations of stock takes.

* Liaising with Service Coordinators and Service Manager, as well as, checking system daily, for all jobs with parts requests and ordering/issuing any required parts.

* Liaise with Installation dept. / Installation manager to insure any up-coming jobs, with excessive or specific material requirements can be met.

* Undertaking rolling monthly stock, spot checks.

* Produce monthly stock count reports.

* Counting, packaging and/or sorting stock required for jobs, and making ready for engineers to collect.

* Sorting, counting and entering returned items, back into stock system.

* Insuring all movement of stock, is recorded on Protean in a timely manner.

* Keeping stores and workshop area clean, organised and tidy.

* Organise and maintain stock codes, descriptions and storage bins.

* Updating supplier profiles (i.e. prices, discount categories etc.) on Protean.

* Booking in all deliveries on protean and unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock.

* Delivering materials to site, as and when required.

* Arranging for courier services when required for any jobs up in Northern areas.

* Assist with the arrangement and sending off, of various medical/test equipment for calibration.
