Vacancy Description: Finance Manager / Business Partner

A highly visible opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Finance Manager/Business Partner to business partner the director of our Talent tower and join our rapidly expanding Finance Team based in Reading to. The role will suit an individual with prior business partnering or commercial experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide financial leadership and insight to Business Unit/Ops director and senior stakeholders to aid better commercial discussions and operational decisions

* Overall financial responsibility for tower including ownership of business plan, budgets and forecasting

* Implement appropriate levels of cost control and help identify opportunities to increase income across the business

* Support the financial controller to report on time, accurately and with sufficient business insight to Divisional and Group finance teams each month and for internal and external auditors

* Work closely with business development and sales teams on various bids/tenders

* Prepare/review business cases/investments

KEY CLIENTS (INTERNAL / EXTERNAL)

• Local Business Unit/Ops directors and their management teams

• Group and divisional finance

• Internal audit and risk management team

• External clients and their relevant teams

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

* Ability to present and challenge at Director / Business Manager level with insightful information

* Good written / oral communication skills

* Leadership in commercial discussions / negotiations

* Business planning, forecasting and bid modeling

* CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified accountant

* Self-starter with hands on approach able to work with high degree of independence

* Experience in recruitment helpful

* Experience in plc environment helpful

* Microsoft packages (Word / Excel)

* SAP / SRC – at a standard to train others within the business
