We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Operations Consultant. This is working with RM Group and offers an environment geared towards innovation within the education sector, a basic salary of up to £30,000 per annum, a bonus and excellent benefits.

HR Operations are our specialists in all operational activities including employment law and the management of employee relations; core services including:

* Case management of employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, ill-health, capability etc.

* General expertise, advice and guidance on policy and process, employment law, and terms and conditions.

* Delivery of business change, including TUPE processes and restructures.

* Implementation of legal and policy change.

* Management of key projects, including our annual employee engagement survey, and other activity to support delivering a great working environment for our staff.

* They also provide recruitment selection support on an ad hoc basis.

HR Operations Consultants may work across any part of the Group, handling cases and projects from any of the three businesses, but are likely to have a primary geographical region or business area.

Skills & experience

* Employee Relations subject matter expertise, ideally in a commercial environment

* TUPE and change management experience desirable, but not essential (redundancies, restructuring, changes to terms and conditions)

* Able to influence, coach and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including HR Business Partners and Senior Business Managers

* Able to explain and communicate employment legislation to non-HR stakeholders

* Able to apply commercial decision making, and sound judgement, including appropriate consideration of risk

* Excellent attention to detail

* Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills

* Able to multi-task, and be comfortable working under pressure or with uncertainty
