Role: Payroll Administrator

Location: Abingdon

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + Benefits

Employment: Permanent

We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator for our key partner within the education sector based in Abingdon. Given our client currently outsources their payroll, your role will involve the input of payroll information and all associated administration and payroll checking amongst wider HR duties. Whilst, you do not need to be a payroll expert, being confident with numbers and having an eye for detail are essential.

This is a new role within the business due to expansion, so you will have a real opportunity to make it your own.

Key responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator

Payroll:

* Work alongside the outsourced payroll providers to prepare and run the company’s payroll

* Input payroll amendments and keep detailed records

* Act as first point of contact for salary and payroll queries

* Administer pension scheme

* Assist with payroll reporting in line with HR and business requirements

HR:

* Process and communicate all paperwork associated with employment changes and variations to contracts of employment

* Process all new starters and leavers including production of employment contracts, references, induction packs, handbooks, letters and holiday payments.

* Support with recruitment including; applications forms, references requests, interview coordination whilst ensuring safer recruitment practices are met
