Role: Internal Technical Support Engineer

Salary: £30’000 - £35’000 (plus bonus)

Location: Market Harborough

The Role: Internal Technical Support Engineer

* This role would suit someone who enjoys the challenge of solving problems daily, working on a range of high-end equipment and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction

* This role would also suit a field-based service engineer looking for an office-based role

* This a great opportunity for an engineer with a wide range of Electrical and Mechanical skills to work in a challenging but office-based role.

Person Specification: Internal Technical Support Engineer

* Strong practical engineering skills, both mechanical and electrical as you will be tasked with fault finding remotely (training provided)

* Strong mechanical aptitude

* A sound understanding of electrical and electronic systems preferred

* Practical experience is preferred

* High standards of attention to detail

* Enquiring mind and a determination to identify and resolve problems

* Ideally someone who has assembled and tested assemblies etc. (But not essential)

* Be a self-motivated individual ensuring customers are responded to in a timely manner.

* Good communication skills as you be required to liaise with both technical and non-technical people on technical matters.

* Good admin skills (proficient in MS Office and logical in recording information etc.)

* Full Driving licence

Responsibilities include: Internal Technical Support Engineer

* Responding to and solving customer Technical Issues and problems received by email or phone

* Take ownership of all incoming support cases ensuring a speedy resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction

* Assess, quote and repair incoming equipment, managing customer expectation

* Offer customers telephone technical advice on Hardware & Software

* Communicate clearly and effectively with non-technical internal staff

* You will spend the first few months learning the hardware and software systems of our latest products
