Front Office Business Analyst/Project Manager

An excellent opportunity has come up with our client for a Front Office Business Analyst/Project Manager to join a leading global Asset Manager to work on a very high-profile front office change programme. They are looking for a Business Analyst or hands on Project Manager, preferably in an international project-driven environment, and will contribute to the efficiency, productivity and success of the business.

Responsibilities:

* Understand business requirements front-to-back from Asset and portfolio management teams or operations and deliver adequate solutions by applying agile methodologies.

* Ensure all assessment, design and implementation activities engage an appropriate and complete set of stakeholders across relevant product groups and supporting infrastructure functions and are performed within the defined scope of the programme and support its objectives

* Identify appropriate technology solutions to enhance control and determine where interim tactical solutions are required

* Analysis and transformation of the business user needs into functional / technical requirements

* Driving forward innovation and system harmonisation considering non-functional and regulatory requirements as well the future technology architecture.

* Engage with internal clients and users of IT to ensure their requirements are understood and adequately supported

Essential experience:

* Has experience of delivering non-technology driven as well as technology driven change

* Good knowledge of the investment process at an asset manager.

* Excellent written skills and experience of drafting policies and procedures

* A thorough understanding of software development process (agile or waterfall), testing and release management process and implementation of a framework and standards.

* Has experience of managing senior stakeholders and ability to build strong relationships

* A proven track record of managing of software delivery projects and understanding of the software development process from an end to end perspective.
