PMO / Project Manager / Prince2 / IT Consultancy
As Project Manager you will be joining an expanding PMO team delivering infrastructure and network projects for clients who range across multiple sectors.
In a role of this nature you will be Prince2 certified and adhere to PMO best practice when dealing directly with clients.
Delivery of projects against defined client technical requirements
Secure project sign-off for project outcomes
Be the single point of contact for the client providing; project status updates, risks and potential issues, scope, financial, maintain overall project control.
Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders and internal/external suppliers.
Evaluate project resources throughout the project lifecycle
Manage third party relationships
Business and technical analysis methods in order to examine & question quality of deliverables
Ensure that project acceptance criteria is documented and communicated to key stakeholder
Ensure a controlled project handover and closure
Handover of core technical and training documentation
Support organisational aims to protect corporate reputation and profitability
The Project Manager is expected to ensure that key project decisions are informed keeping in mind corporate strategy, the adoption of appropriate technology and the application of best practice and compliance.
Scope of Works including project approach
Project plan and definition of key deliverables, tasks, schedule and assigned resource
Definition and agreement of roles and responsibilities for key stakeholders and suppliers
Quality Management Standards including governance and controls
Production of progress reports against key milestones and KPIs
Educated to degree standard
Qualification in project management PRINCE2 / MSP / APMP
Proven track record in Project Management
Experience of successfully managing large scale business process and IT projects
Experience of managing people in an IT service delivery environment
