An Excellent opportunity for an Experienced Fire Alarm & Security Systems Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company based in Manchester! The Company: They are a leading Fire and Security electrical contractors in Manchester, specialising in the design and installation of a range of modern domestic and commercial fire and security solutions. Over the years, they have developed from their core business of electrical engineering to provide a broad range of electrical services in several areas of expertise, now including individual divisions including Electrical , Fire , Security and Renewable Energy . They are now looking to recruit an Experienced Fire Alarm & Security Systems Engineer to join their growing team. Job Description: To complete routine and reactive maintenance service visits across client’s premises. Experience with fault diagnostics and testing is essential, as the candidate will be expected to attend urgent response callouts. The majority of the service visits will be working on fire detection and alarm systems, but some will also include electronic security and CCTV so experience in these areas is preferable. They have a diverse range of clients including apartment blocks, office areas, nursing homes, schools, sports centres and industrial units. Role Responsibilities: To complete maintenance works according to current standards. To represent the company in an appropriate manner; to be polite, helpful and maintain a good physical appearance. To work with a professional and positive attitude. Have good timekeeping. To complete paperwork correctly as required including e-docs. To be responsible for personal tools and stock items. Company van must be kept clean and organised at all times. Candidate Requirements: Previous experience and knowledge in the fire & security industry. Technical interest in fire & security systems. Ability to work alone. Full UK driving license. Engineer will cover out-of-hours call on a rota basis. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, usually, but not restricted to, Monday – Friday 08:15 – 17:00 and in return the company is offering the following: Salary £25,000+ depending on experience.
