This international organisation is currently recruiting for a Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager to join their team in Brighton, with responsibility for managing the global tax reporting and complia This international organisation is currently recruiting for a Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager to join their team in Brighton, with responsibility for managing the global tax reporting and compliance requirements. You will work closely with the Head of Tax and financial reporting teams based in Brighton as well as the wider global tax team. The role will include: Working closely with the financial reporting teams to deliver the end to end process of the provision of year-end tax reporting numbers, forecasts, and external disclosures Review and oversight of CT filing processes and returns in the EMEA and APAC regions Review of all indirect tax filing obligations for businesses established in the UK and Ireland, including the submission of overseas IPT returns in several European jurisdictions. Review of VAT return submissions in the UK (as part of the wider group's UK VAT return) and Irish VAT return submissions. Helping to evaluate and drive opportunities to make process and technology improvements including bringing innovative ideas to transform existing processes. Monitoring tax risk and control improvements and preparation of Senior Accounting Officer submission to Centre. Managing responses to tax audit enquiries. Assistance with Transfer Pricing documentation, Country by Country reporting and both Local and Masterfile requirements. Answering queries from other departments including Sales, Broker, and Customer Service teams on tax residency, IPT, and WHT matters. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with financial accounting background and experience of corporation tax gained in a Multinational group or Professional Services firm. They will have current technical knowledge of UK tax and UK IFRS financial reporting and ideally some international tax and VAT exposure.
