The opportunity We are now recruiting for our Project Management Services Team which has been set-up to meet unprecedented market demand. The Project Management Services Team delivers leading edge business intelligence and PMO services for our clients, to drive performance improvement across multiple services and operational functions. The Project Management Services Team is one of a number of services being delivered from the EY UK&I Delivery Centre based in Belfast. You will be joining this new team at an exciting time and will have the opportunity see the team and its offerings continue to develop. You will report to the Project Management Services Team Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing dynamic team who are changing how we deliver services to our clients. Your key responsibilities This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team within EY. Although based out of the UK&I Innovation and Delivery Centre, the role will be client focused and as such some travel will be required. A key component of the role is interaction with client stakeholders (often at a senior level). You'll lead on fully understanding the business context and the nature of the client's requirements, before determining the right approach and solution, ensuring that there is a clear link between our work and value creation for the business. Key responsibilities will include the following: Drawing on your skills and experience support the development of programme management solutions for clients Supporting the delivery of programmes and projects within appropriate governance frameworks to time, cost and quality Delivering high quality outputs to senior stakeholders Assisting in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organising staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to programme leaders Helping solve business and technology issues through collaboration and teaming Working confidently with clients to build 'trusted advisor' relationships Building strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other service lines Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve our clients Skills and attributes for success A pragmatic problem solver that embraces the challenge of defining innovative solutions A passion to contribute to the growth of the team A drive to continuously build and master key technical, functional and professional skills Ability to lead a small team Self-starter and motivated Ability to work under pressure and deadlines To qualify for the role you must have At least three years within a blue chip consulting firm, industry or government organisation (strong track record in consulting is highly desirable) Experience in one or more of the following competencies: Project Planning Resource Management Project Monitoring Project Finance Management Benefits Management Process Improvement Ability to work with clients to translate requirements into solutions Strong communication and presentation skills Degree level qualification or equivalent by qualification or experience Prince2 Foundation, PMP or equivalent certification would be desirable Ideally you'll also have: Experience of working in a similar / professional services environment.
