As a sales ledger clerk you will be joining a busy finance team where you will assist in proactively chasing payment from overdue accounts, Handling customer account and invoice queries ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner while offering a high level of customer of service to customers.

Description

The role of the Sales Ledger will include but not limited to:

  • Contacting clients by phone chasing overdue payments
  • Dealing with account and invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Processing of customer debit and credit card payments
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Assisting with any ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Previous sales ledger or credit control experience - Essential
  • Hold excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Essential
  • Experience of dealing and resolving of customer and queries - Essential
  • Professional and proactive attitude - Essential
  • Be a strong team player who can also work on own initiative - Essential
  • High level of customer service- Essential
  • Ability to build long lasting realtionships - Essential
  • A proven problem solver - Essential

Job Offer

On offer for the right candidate is a salary up to £18,000 per annum raising after 3 months + 20 days holiday + Career progression +discount scheme + car parking + pension
