Highly regarded company based in Hayle, Cornwall are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant.

The role is an interesting and varied one with duties including:

  1. Book keeping & double entry knowledge
  2. Processing expenses, both paper claims and credit cards
  3. Maintaining cashbooks
  4. Some knowledge of VAT
  5. Excel
  6. A degree of IT knowledge which would enable the person to develop a new expenses system would be a plus
  7. They have a small subsidiary company. There would be some opportunity to take on the book keeping and administration of accounting for this company. In addition another subsidiary will start to trade later this year and it is envisaged that there will be some involvement in this.
  8. Providing assistance to Financial Controller and FD as required.
