Our client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to work with them in this new three to six-month contract role.

Your duties will include:

Accurately process purchase invoices ensuring that authorising procedures are followed.

Reconcile supplier statements and follow up any differences.

Prepare Weekly/Monthly payments in Sage and provide PDF support for authorisation.

Process expense claims (incl. foreign currency) and provide expense analysis for month end accounts.

Process monthly credit card expenses.

Maintain GRN database (Access).

You will need:

Previous purchase ledger experience.

Working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Excel.

Ability to deal with multiple currencies.

Previous manufacturing company or similar experience.

Organised and self-motivated individual with initiative.

Ability to work to deadlines.

Attention to detail.

Good communication skills.

Flexibility.

Based in Lymington working 8.00 / 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 / 5.00 p.m. (37.5 hours a week) with pay rate of £11.00 to £12.00 per hour plus free parking available
