CBRE GWS Corporate Services are seeking a bright and tenacious Facilities Management QHSE Manager to join the central QHSE team in London.

As a direct report to the Divisional QHSE Director your will support the Divisional QHSE strategy to ensure the business needs are met.
Purpose of the Job
* To support the development and ensure the delivery of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) strategy, policy and processes for Corporate Services in liaison with the Divisional QHSE Manager.
* Monitor, review and analyse QHSE performance and identify appropriate initiatives and differentiators to ensure performance improvement within Corporate Services and the supply chain.
* To manage the local implementation of QHSE initiatives including the development and delivery of appropriate education as necessary so as to ensure a safe and healthy working environment, adherence to related statutory duties and the furthering of best practice standards.
* Establish collaborative ‘working partnerships’ within customer base to facilitate the achievement of consistency in best working practice, delivered through the definition and adoption of working practices that provide and maintain confidence in service delivery and drive continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* To implement, manage and review the QHSE Plan for Corporate Services in line with the Divisional Strategic QHSE Plan;
* Liaise with relevant business leaders to ensure expectations are understood and delivered, as far as reasonable for suitable management of risk exposures.
* To provide guidance and practical expertise on Health, Safety and Environmental issues in addition to those of Quality, ensuring there is appropriate day-to-day support and guidance to both internal and external customers;
* To ensure compliance with all business wide policy and strategy through scheduled Integrated Management System Audits;
* To lead and support initiatives and best practice activities in all areas of QHSE Management;
* To ensure the development and maintenance of a suitable training strategy and support its delivery so as to enable appropriate standards of QHSE competence are achieved and maintained;
* To promote and maintain the behaviours and values of the company at all times;
* To ensure QHSE Champions are established; provide co-ordination and manage delivery of their objectives.
* To support the relationship with externally sourced QHSE resource as required
* To ensure the achievement of agreed functional standards and service level agreements;
* To compile and maintain reporting and performance monitoring and analysis and review against established metrics and standards;
* To support the achievement of good industry practice, business competitiveness, and the development of a ‘learning’ organisation;
* To support effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate;
* To support the Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of new business through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings, bid and contract generation and review and to support mobilisation and resourcing activities on new contracts;
* To assist as necessary with reviews of existing Policies, Procedures, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work including an appraisal of how these are implemented in the workplace;
* To bring to the attention of the Divisional QHSE Director any hazards or risks not addressed in the Company Safety Policy.
Accountabilities
* Accountable to the Corporate Services QHSE Director.
* Functionally responsible to the specific Business Unit Leads within Corporate Services.
