Are you a UK qualified nursery room leader in Hitchin?

If the answers to the above questions are yes, then a Hitchin based nursery has the role for you. You must hold a minimum UK Level 3 Early Years qualification with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. The nursery has excellent public transport links with ample on-site parking. The nursery has recently gone through some staff changes and is now looking to build a new team around the new management and team leaders.

You must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and be comfortable leading a team of assistants, nurses and apprentices.

The nursery will provide on-going training and can offer the successful candidate the chance to progress into senior management roles.

The children take part in a wide range of activities and are situated very close to a number of large local parks with an abundance of wildlife. There is also a large secure garden that allows them to enjoy outdoor activities all year round.

Your responsibilities include:
* Being flexible on the start times of your shifts.
* Be able to cover various age ranges in the EYFS.
* Providing support to newly qualified Nursery Assistants and Apprentices.

You will need:
* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above.
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
