Job Title: Temporary Accounts Assistant
Salary: £10 per hour
Hours: 40hours per week Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5pm)
We are currently recruiting for a temporary credit controller in Halesowen. This also has a possibility of going permanently for the right candidate.
- Chasing debt via telephone and email
- Dealing with internal queries about payments
- Ensuring customers pay on time
- Review dept recovery procedures
- Debt Control
- Report if client has paid late or missed multiple payments
- Reconciling invoicing
- Processing incoming funds
- Invoicing discounting - reconciliations
- Purchase ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Petty cash
- Expenses/credit card
- Weekly payment run
- Product monthyl aged debt analysis
- Month end reconciliations
- Day to day banking
- Keep organised records
- Administration duties such as updating filling and scanning documents
- Excellent analytical skills.
- A practical hands on approach to problem solving.
- Good face to face and written communication skills
- The Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- To achieve set objectives and targets.
- The ability to work within multi-functional teams, but also able to work effectively alone
- A working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, excel and word packages.
- Knowledge of invoicing
- IT Based skills on MS Office, SAGE and databases.
