Randstad is a multinational human resources consulting firm specialising in temporary and permanent recruitment, including contract staffing of professionals and senior managers.

We have a rare opportunity to join Randstad at our UK Head Office, based on the prestigious Capability Green Business Park in Luton, as a Contracts Manager (Paralegal).

If you are a Paralegal or equivalently and looking for a new role in a globally recognised organisation, then Randstad want to hear from you!

You will be joining our world class legal team, based in our sophisticated shared service centre office on the prestigious Capability Green Business Park in Luton. Home not only to Legal, but Finance, IT, Marketing and our HR teams you will be joining our experts who are the cogs that work in the background to ensure everything runs smoothly for our operational business.

Reporting into our Head Of Legal, and working within the World League Counsel framework, the role of Contracts Manager (Paralegal) is to provide timely, compliant, robust and commercially focused legal advisory services to our UK Sales team. You will be exposed to a wide variety of legal matters, contractual risks and will be the 'go-to' person for our business leaders.

You will be responsible for:

* Managing the commercial contracting needs of the UK business with the support of the wider legal team.

* Helping develop and implement the contractual governance process for the UK to ensure that contracts are prioritised, reviewed effectively and delivered on time.

* Reviewing contracts (sales, non-sales and employment) or any other documentation (such as terms of business, non-disclosure and end-user license agreements, and SLAs), where the Company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention.

* Prepare, review, maintain and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities.

* Ensuring appropriate authorisation of contractual documents in line with the UK Approval Policy, execution and ongoing management.

* Drafting non-standard contracts as and when required to fit new/different services provided by the Company.

* Liaising with different departments (such as Commercial Finance) regarding all contract negotiations to ensure that the Company can adhere to all contractual obligations.

To be successful in this role you will display:

* At least two years of legal experience gained ideally in private practice or in a leading organisation as a paralegal, with a proven track record in contract negotiation and drafting;

* Proven track record of providing accurate, effective and commercial legal counsel; and

* Proven track record of adding value to an organisation through the development of comprehensive contract documents that mitigate risk and penalties.
