Job Title: Payroll Assistant

Location: London

Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £100 - £150pd (dependent on experience)

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 5 months

Would you like to say you work for a leading global organisation? I am looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to carry out this exciting 5 month contract.

The key responsibilities for the successful Payroll Assistant will include:

  • Monitoring the overpayments process, including calculations and all correspondence.
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager in ad-hoc duties when necessary.
  • Ensure that the monthly and weekly payrolls are run efficiently and accurately, and all employees are paid on time and in accordance with current tax and other regulations.
  • Undertaking maternity calculations and producing all correspondence.
  • Calculating salary and adjustments from monthly timesheets and input data onto payroll system.

To be considered for the Payroll Assistant role you will have:

  • Previous payroll experience is required
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and an ability to place work into the bigger context of HR/payroll best practice and the business is essential.
  • Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking are required to ensure strict deadlines are met
  • Working knowledge of an HR/payroll system is essential and also the ability to learn systems quickly
