Health and Safety Manager
Cranleigh Health & Safety are thrilled to be working on behalf of a leading Housing & Care business who operate across the Kent region. Due to their growth and increasing workload, they are looking to hire an experienced Health and Safety Manager. The Health and Safety Manager will be NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent) and have a solid understanding of the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an extremely rewarding environment and be at the forefront of the Health & Safety side to the business.

Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work with Directors to develop an effective Health, Safety & Quality strategy
  • To monitor accidents, incidents and analyse them correctly
  • Lead/support implementation of the health & safety and quality strategy and related organisational learning.
  • To deliver health and safety and/or compliance training where required
  • To ensure appropriate CQC compliance at all times
  • Travel to other locations within the company


Health & Safety Manager Experience and Qualifications required:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
  • At least 3 years working as a manager
  • Full UK Driving License and own vehicle

Role: Health & Safety Manager
Pay Rate: £35k - £40k
Job Type: Monday - Friday, Permanent role
Industry: Care / Housing / Residential
Location: Maidstone, Kent, Travel is required around the South East of England
