The role of a cover supervisor is to watch over a class in the absence of the teacher. You will be managing the behaviour of the students and keeping them on task for the work they have been set. You will be working with students aged 11-16 being the first port of call for them if they have any questions or queries. You will then pass the completed work to the appropriate teacher for marking.
You will be expected to deal with immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with the schools policies and procedures and create a safe and productive environment.
