This role will be responsible for the management of tenders, RFIs, quotations and proposals from qualifications through to contract and handover to the delivery team, including costing and pricing

My client is based in Basingstoke is an independent global provider in customer focused, end-to-end, data driven cash management solutions


The Bid Manager will be responsible for the below duties:

  • Leading and managing tenders (RFPs) , RFIs, proposals and quotations
  • Accountable for full compliance with customer requirements, overcoming potential issues with creative problem solving
  • Deliver bid strategy by collaborating with sales, management and subject matter experts
  • Highly efficient management of bid timelines through creation of project plans, tracking progress against milestones and status reporting for major bids
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional team through the bids phase and ensuring full cooperation and buy in all internal stakeholders and departments


For the Bid Manager role, the desired skills set would be as below:

  • Experience managing international commercial and government bids
  • Experience with international trade mechanisms such as bid bonds, letters of credit and incoterms
  • Ability to identify, qualify and manage commercial risks
  • Strong organisational and communication skills in a regionally structured, cross-functional environment
