A part time role has arisen with a well-established and fast-growing accountancy practice. Our client is seeking a candidate who is happy to work 4-5 days a week for 3-4 hours (preferably mornings).

The fundamental part of your role will be to offer support across the firm by collating sets of accounts to be sent to our clients outsourced partners. Therefore, you must be familiar with handling accounts. This role would suit someone has worked for an accountancy or finance company or supported a Finance director.


Tasks:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support

  • Provide support to account managers by preparing documents and reports to be sent to our outsourced partners

  • Monitor deliverables from outsourced partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services

  • Respond to queries in a timely manner

  • Assist with preparing documents for submission to regulatory bodies

  • Provide support to scheduling team when required

  • Preparing various written documents

  • Creation of reports and presentations for more senior members in the team if required

Person:

  • Enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail

  • Strong numeracy skills

  • Experience working in as an administrator is essential

  • Bookkeeping experience would be desirable

  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to adapt to unfamiliar packages

  • Able to work effectively using own initiative and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills

  • Flexible and proactive approach
