Your new company
A Top 100, 8 partner practice housing circa 70 members of staff from one office. Clients are an interesting mix, mostly mid-range, owner-managed companies in the North West involved in a diverse range of industries and sectors. Based in a highly convenient location in Warrington, just off the M6 and A580 with free on-site parking. Being a heavy Tax focused firm, this Tax department is headed up by two partners, and consists of a total of 12 team members.
Your new role
Reporting to the Tax Partners you will be responsible for managing staff workflow and work allocations for all advisory projects. As a senior member of the team you will review CT computations deal with ad-hoc tax technical queries and assist on some advisory projects. You will organise staff training needs to ensure CPD requirements are met and assist with appraisals for junior members of staff. Naturally with this senior position you will assist with Tax Dept billing requirements and WIP management.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have experience in operating in a mixed tax position, with experience of managing a portfolio of clients from a variety of industries and sectors. Ideally, candidates will be CTA qualified with excellent communication skills.
