Electrical Projects Portfolio Manager

Managing the installed base portfolio and integrating the organization's engineering capabilities, to create compelling value propositions and success for their clients.

Grow the business in the relevant market sector by using current market data, fully defining the offering and go to market strategy including compelling value propositions. In conjunction with the

Sales & Marketing teams, identify opportunities, develop marketing materials and drive Sales leadership.

Work closely with Operations teams in the formulation of delivery models that ensure our pricing is competitive and generates agreed profit levels. Develop a program of offerings (solutions & services) development. Owns relevant HUB / Local Business Unit Growth initiatives

Package

Up to £75,000 basic

Up to 25% bonus

Tasks

+ Effectively manages multifunctional interfaces - internal, customers and suppliers

+ Effectively leads teams to deliver assignments and project deliverables

+ Manages own personal development

+ Responsible for management, personal development and appraisal of team individuals

+ Oversee the development of competitive/compelling commercial bids

+ Develops beneficial relationships with external organisations

+ Able to make contact at senior level in client organisations

+ Understands competitive position of team and marketplace and uses this knowledge to influence tenders

+ Identifies and supports sell on and pull through opportunities

+ Seeks opportunities to enhance margin performance

+ Works with the Customer to shape and define solutions based on a good understanding of their requirements

+ Innovates with the Customer to deliver strategic relationships

+ Shapes and aligns functional offer to best meet Customer needs

+ Manages relationships with the Customer at a senior level

Requirements

Essential

+ Minimum of 10 years’ experience within Industry in Sales &/or Operations

+ Experience of managing multidiscipline teams in high hazard Oil, Gas & Chemical environments

+ Degree Engineering Qualification

+ Excellent communications inc presentations (up to Director level)

+ Excellent leadership/development skills

+ Safety Leadership, set’s high standards for all Safety, Health and Environmental issues

+ Working knowledge of CDM/H&S Regulations

Desirable

+ Experience of Quality, Training and SHE Environments

+ Offshore experience

+ In depth knowledge of modern methodologies/risk assessment techniques/management
