They have been established for over 15 years and offer superior standards of service, individual choice and greater expertise in the local area.
The working pattern is simple with 4 days or 5 an option and Tuesday to Saturday every week with no Sundays or Bank holidays.

The role is in a busy practice boasting to have all the latest modern equipment to make your job as stress free as possible as well as expert training on offer for the skills you haven’t been exposed to yet in your career. They and very loyal customer base built up over the years and with high value dispenses and technically advanced advice makes this the optician of choice. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of care possible.Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
The role involves working on the reception desk and being the first face the customer see, keeping the diary up to date and maintaining the contact for the customer journey. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. All applicants must be computer literate and strong admin skills alongside strong and clear communication levels.Requirements of the Optical Assistant
My client is looking for applicants with an in-depth knowledge of all areas of the admin side with emphasis on customer service and communication as well as being fully computer savvy.
A passion for customer service is essential with a strong work ethic and team spirit is the qualities that will put in a strong position. Your communication skills will be of the highest standard coupled with your impeccable attention to detail with your dress sense come as second nature.
You will need to be computer literate as they have a paperless record system and the latest technology in delivering a better than average service.
For your experience and personal high standards of service my client is offering a more than competitive salary of up to £18,000 basic along with additional benefits.
