SLA05544 - Principal Teacher ASN - Kear Campus
Kear provides a range of services to children, young people and families who, for a variety of reasons, are finding it difficult to engage with education. Our children and young people have often experienced a range of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and some have diagnosed conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) - recognising this informs our practice.
From P1 to S6, we support our learners to engage in bespoke packages of education both on-site and in community based settings, even when life is at its most challenging. Our pupils benefit from being surrounded by a resilient, caring, skilled team of staff who see beyond their behaviour and work to their strengths. The significant pastoral role carried by all Kear teachers is a key attraction for many who have joined us.
We are seeking to appoint a Principal Teacher – the current vacancy being within one of our four secondary area support bases. We are looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, skill and passion to the role as well as proven leadership qualities and experience.
