Hutcheon Mearns are exclusively supporting a private equity backed oil service business in Aberdeen to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will operate from their office based to the North of the city and the successful individual will assume a varied and demanding role. Applicants with minimal or no notice period are encouraged to apply. Working within a close-knit team, you will be responsible for handling both the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, expense processing and statement reconciliations. In addition to assisting with the preparation of management accounts, handling petty cash, month end duties, credit control and various ad hoc tasks. Strong Excel skills are required and previous exposure to using either SAP or Sage accounting software is advantageous. You will have the ability to manage your own workload and have a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to resolve complex queries with minimal supervision.
