Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for a Payroll Technician for a highly successful Accountancy practice firm based in Lincoln.

As a Payroll Technician you will support the Payroll process for client’s confidential payroll, including benefit and expense information, within HMRC framework, ensuring that the legislation is upheld. Offering help and advice when required. Advising clients in line with HMRC guidelines. Working as a team, supporting the Payroll Manager, dealing with numerous individual payrolls

Key Responsibilities

* Accurate data entry in to Payroll database of sensitive and confidential client information in a timely manner

* General database maintenance including excel report running

* Dealing with client telephone enquiries in relation to payroll, benefit and expenses

* Maintenance of benefit membership schedules

* Knowledge of tax treatment of various pension

* Updating movers and leavers on the systems

* Providing year end information

* Maintain the annual compliance audit of personnel files by cleaning up any errors and ensuring correct procedures followed for all new starters

* Payroll & Benefits experience preferable

* Previous general administration experience is essential

* Experience of using excel and report running

* Understanding of general payroll and benefits schemes

* Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

* Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

The Payroll Technician is a permanent position and is based in the firms Lincoln office. The salary will be paying up to £21,000 PA Depending on Experience + Excellent Company Benefits.
