Service Delivery Manager (Agile & Cloud)

Due to my client’s growth plans and focus on Managed Services, they are seeking to hire a Service Delivery Manager (Agile & Cloud) to look after their growing client base across England.

A thorough knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures as well as Agile is an important asset alongside leadership and management skills, and the ability to participate in pre-sales and post-sales engagements as they pertain to Service Delivery.

Additionally, the successful candidate as Service Delivery Manager will have good technology appreciation in the cloud and analytics area and be comfortable reporting on KPI's and being measured on performance (customer satisfaction).

Further to this the Service Delivery Manager will have strong stakeholder management experience. This will be strategic and C-level exposure. We are looking for someone who can develop the transformation strategy and be able to scope, plan and execute with senior (C-level) stakeholders.

This is a field based position with travel through the South of the UK & Midlands.

Role Requirements for Service Delivery Manager

Service delivery

Build strong, collaborative relationships with business clients and IT service owners
Track client satisfaction with services provided
Continuously improve, based on feedback from clients
Implement Agile practices across project delivery & ensure the efficiency of Infrastructure project delivery.
Ensure that effective communication occurs related to service delivery
Understand at a high level the services and technologies in use
Define, agree to, and report on key service metrics
Act as an escalation point for major issues with any aspect of service delivery
Work with service owners to develop and monitor service improvement plans

Influence Business and IT Stakeholders

Influence business and IT stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization in order to help clients achieve their business objectives
Leverage existing relationships to convince decision makers to move forward with business and IT initiatives that will benefit the department and the organization as a whole
Understand and solve issues and challenges such as differing agendas, political considerations, and resistance to change

Knowledge of the Market

Understand the industry – trends, competition, future direction
Leverage what others are doing to bring innovative ideas to the organization
Understand what end customers expect with regards to IT services and bring this intelligence to business leaders and decision makers
Work collaboratively with clients to define and prioritise technology initiatives (new or enhanced services) that will bring the most business benefit
Lead initiatives that help the business achieve or exceed business goals and objectives
Lead initiatives that create business value (increased revenue, lower costs, increased efficiency) for the organization

They are paying between £50-80k DOE + benefits. Interviews are taking place from Monday 29th April and they are keen to get someone started ASAP.
