This SEN School in Dudley that caters to pupils with SEMH and or ASC disabilities are looking to appoint an English Teacher or an existing second in department or teacher in charge of English to a permanent position as their Head of Faculty - English for either an Easter or September start. The position is available on a full time, permanent basis and will see the successful applicant teaching and leading within English, with responsibility for English across the school.

Based in the local authority of Dudley in the West this SEN school have a diverse and disparate pupil population with either SEMH or ASC disabilities. The school has been through a massive refurbishment and now possesses outstanding facilities! This really is a wonderful environment to work in.

You will hold responsibility for the English department, the curriculum and quality of teaching amongst other duties, as well as leading by example in your own teaching within the school. You will report in to the Head Teacher who herself is a qualified English Teacher and play a key role in the future of the department as part of the management team.
