A highly successful and established manufacturing and production business who have a need within their growing team for an HR Advisor.

This is a new role and a great opportunity to join the team of a busy contract packing company based in Needham Market, Suffolk, working for a variety of business sectors.

They are a growing business offering a positive working environment and welcome candidates with good communication skills, great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.

The Role:
- Recruitment - to include writing job descriptions and person specifications, preparation of job adverts, short-listing, interviewing and selection of candidates.
- All HR administration including starters and leavers, holidays, staff rotas, absence and reporting.
- Reviewing and development of documentation for annual reviews and assisting management with process.
- Advising Management on disciplinary and grievance matters and other employment law issues and ensuring that all policies and procedures are kept up to date and followed.
- HR and workforce planning on an annual basis and advising on staff development
- Improvement of employee experience by undertaking surveys and feedback, conducting exit interviews and making recommendations to management.
- Maintaining attendance database system and collating and verifying information for all employees.
- Provide full HR support to team
- Responsible for booking training courses and maintaining up to date records for all employees.

The successful candidate for the role will:
- Having prior HR experience will be essential and being qualified toCIPD Level 5 will be advantageous
- Hold excellent computer skills across the Microsoft Office package and accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Be confident in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Be a proactive and driven individual who can take control of their own workload
- Be keen to learn and progress within the business and a can-do attitude with the ability to make things happen
- Be an excellent team player who can work with production and administration functions to help them understand issues and find suitable improved ways of working

This is a part time role based on 27.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Hours 9am to 3pm or 10am to 4pm will be considered.
Salary £20,000 to £22,000 depending on experience
22 days paid holiday per annum plus UK Bank Holidays

Based in Needham Market just outside Ipswich, there is free parking onsite and the company is within walking distance of train station and on bus route from Ipswich and Stowmarket.
