My client are a manufacturing company in the Southport area who are looking to appoint an Accounts Office Manager / Bookkeeper on a permanent basis. You will be part of a small friendly team within an organisation that have been established for just over 50 years and are continuously striving to improve their product quality and pipeline. This is a great opportunity which will include the line management of 2 office based staff as well as full autonomy across a variety of accounts duties.

Main Accounts Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Preparing and processing weekly & monthly payroll
  • Bank reconciliations and managing cash flow & payments
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Producing monthly profit & loss
  • Responsible for 2 x Invoicing Clerks

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Stock control experience is essential
  • Previous experience of working across all areas of accounts to include monthly management accounts
  • Good accounts system experience with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
