Your new role
Reporting to the Management Accountant your prime responsibility will be the accurate and timely processing of invoices through to payment. This will include supplier statement reconciliation and the resolving of any queries. You will also support the wider accounting team with such duties as bank reconciliation, assisting sales ledger and other administrative/customer service requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
As well as having recent experience in a busy purchase ledger role you will require a high degree of numeracy and literacy. You will also requires a pro-active and flexible approach to your work. You will require strong IT skills, being comfortable using Excel on a daily basis.
