Graduate Business Systems Analyst
We are looking for a Graduate Business Systems Analyst who wants to develop their skills in designing software. Working closely with software developers, you will help design and support bespoke Oracle systems for the utilities industry.
You will gain experience across the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, system design, testing and customer support. As part of your development, you will undertake a six month secondment working as a Project Office Co-ordinator supporting the project management team with the delivery and support of our bespoke software applications.
We will support your ongoing professional development, including the opportunity to progress through a certified diploma with the British Computer Society.
We would like to hear from you if you have a Computer Science (or related degree) or are due to graduate this year along with:
- The ability to handle complex ideas with a methodical approach
- A logical approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage competing priorities and multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and
- A desire to learn alongside the motivation to be proactive.
Relevant commercial experience from a placement year and intermediate/advanced excel skills (pivot tables and macros / data manipulation skills) would be beneficial.
