This is an opportunity to join a statutory levy board, funded by farmers, growers and others in the supply chain and managed as an independent organisation (independent of both commercial industry and of Government).

Reporting to the Research Director, you will own strategic delivery across a significant research and knowledge exchange portfolio to farmers, growers and the supply chain in the arable and livestock sectors.

With extensive experience of agri-environment research KE and policy issues, you will be adept at leading and motivating teams, influencing stakeholders and will understand the importance of internal and external communications. You will be an active networker, comfortable with contributing to their strategy development and maintaining a high-profile role in the industry.

Experience required:
- Relevant degree or higher degree in biological, agricultural, agri-enviromental or related discipline
- Extensive relevant experience of technical, research and policy issues relating to agri-environmental management associated with animal housing, gaseous emissions, agricultural waste management and the maintenance/enhancement of farm biodiversity.
- Good knowledge of work related to agricultural resource management, covering soils management, soil biology, health, crop nutrient management, water use in agriculture, and the adoption of precision technologies to improve efficiency
