You will be a creative storyteller with the analytic skills to present information in a way that drives interaction from prospective students, current students and wider audiences building our credibility and visibility in a complex marketplace to bring our brand to life by producing compelling content across multiple channels both on and offline.

You will work with the wider team and Campaign and Content Manager to identify, plan, create, distribute and analyse content marketing plans, marketing materials and campaigns to keep the University of Cumbria top of mind with prospective students and influencers throughout the decision making and student recruitment process, to drive interest in, engagement with and applications to the university.

Good relationship management is crucial, working with a range of colleagues and external suppliers towards achieving a common goal of student growth. This will include developing and enhancing strong links with students, schools and colleges within the London area to raise awareness of the University of Cumbria offer. The role has responsibility for preparing and delivering University recruitment events such as Open Days, Interview Days, Postgraduate Open Evenings, targeted Summer Schools and involves travel throughout the academic year, attending careers fairs regionally and UCAS fairs nationally. It is also responsible for managing a successful Student Ambassador scheme in London.

You will monitor the effectiveness of all activity in terms of attracting, lead nurture, conversion and retention engagement to enrolment and utilise this data to convince and influence colleagues to support new approaches to marketing delivery.

Although the role is London based and reports in to the Campus Manager this role is supported by the Campaign and Content Manager and UK Recruitment Manager. Both of these teams will provide guidance, assets and frameworks to work within to ensure consistent use of brand messaging.
